Lyssa at the Three Marks
Join the Coven to keep this in your own Book of Shadows
An invocation of Lyssa, the Greek spirit of rage and frenzy, made inside a triangle of three pentacles. It is not a working for raising anger - you will have brought that with you. It is a working for learning to aim it and to carry it without being burned through.
What You Will Need
Something to mark three pentacles
Chalk on a hard floor, salt on a bare one, flour on grass, or three pentacles drawn on paper and weighted down. They need to be large enough to stand clear of and far enough apart to form a real triangle.
Floor space you can stand in the middle of
The three marks are the points of a triangle and you are going to stand inside it. Two paces to a side is enough.
A notebook and pen, set aside until the end
Not used during the invocation. Used afterwards, because what arrives in the quiet after this one is the part people forget.
Moon Phase & Timing
Rage keeps its own calendar, but the moon decides what the working does with it.
Waning Moon: For anger you want to spend down - to let out, aim, and have less of afterwards.
New Moon: For anger you intend to keep and use. The dark holds it without asking you to perform it.
Not the Full Moon: A full moon amplifies what you bring, and this working already brings plenty. Choose another night unless you have done it several times before.
