The Quartz Vessel

A two-stone working: black tourmaline draws off what you are carrying, and clear quartz takes it in as stored strength instead. Nothing is thrown away and nothing is sent anywhere. It is a transfer, done with your hands and your attention and no words at all.
What You Will Need
A piece of black tourmaline
Rough or polished, big enough to close your hand around. Tourmaline is the collecting stone here. Any dark grounding stone will do if you have no tourmaline - obsidian, hematite, a dark river pebble.
A piece of clear quartz
Point or tumbled, it does not matter. This is the vessel: what came off you goes into it and stays there as something you can draw on later.
Somewhere to sit upright
A chair with both feet on the floor. This working is done sitting, with your hands doing all the moving.
Moon Phase & Timing
No phase is needed. The stones do not keep a calendar and neither does a bad week.
Any night: The ordinary use. This one is a short, repeatable working for the end of a day that stuck to you.
Waning Moon: Slightly easier if what you are carrying is heavy or old.
After any baneful working: A good habit. Several of the workings in this collection leave something on your hands, and this is a tidy way to put it down.
