Three Nails of Reckoning

Join the Coven to keep this in your own Book of Shadows
Three nails into a pouch, each one a point of conscience: what was done, who it fell on, and what putting it right would cost. A small, quiet, wordless working that asks somebody to look squarely at their own conduct - and that is undone by taking the nails back out.

What You Will Need
Three small nails
Iron if you have it, panel pins or tacks if you do not. Three, not more. Each one is a point you are naming and a fourth nail means you have stopped counting and started cursing.
A small pouch or drawstring bag
Cloth, so it closes softly and can be opened again. Dark is traditional; any colour works.
Paper and a pen
For the name and the word. A palm-sized piece.
Moon Phase & Timing
No phase is required. This one is worked when the matter is sitting on you.
Waning Moon: If what you want is for the matter to be faced and then finished.
Full Moon: If what you want is for it to be seen - by them, and possibly by others.
Any night: The common use. It takes twenty minutes and needs no sky at all.
