The Angel of Friday
The Angels of Friday: Anael, Rachiel, Sachiel. The Angels of the Air reigning on Friday: Sarabotes, King. Ministers: Amabiel, Aba, Abalidoth, Flaes. The Perfume of Friday: Pepperwort. The Spirits of the Air of Friday are subject to the West-winde; their nature is to give silver; to excite men, and incline them to luxury; to reconcile enemies through luxury; and to make marriages; to allure men to love women; to cause, or take away infirmities; and to do all things which have motion.
The Heptameron is a handbook of the days and the hours. It sets out, for each day of the week, the angel who governs it, his sigil, his planet, the sign that planet rules and the heaven he belongs to. It was printed in English in 1655 beside Agrippa's Fourth Book. The attribution to Peter de Abano, the thirteenth-century physician, is traditional rather than established.

The sigil is traced from the 1655 printing, and checked line for line against the Wellcome Library's copy of the same edition.
Two copies of the 1655 edition were compared: the Wellcome Library's, which is the original sheet, and a clean facsimile of it. The figures are identical in both; the facsimile was traced because the original page has the reverse showing through it.
